5 Quick Apply Full-time 1 day ago Full Job Description BPG USA in Berryville, VA is currently seeking Sheefed Press Helpers to maintain and control the printing process as well produce high quality custom printed products.
The ideal candidate would be able to work with attention to detail and safety standards and maintain the equipment used for printing.
Responsibilities Assists Lead Pressman to control the printing process and produce high quality products Assists Pressman in set up such as Sheet size and coatings Organizing daily schedule to maintain goals Assist in mounting plates and other items needed to process work Assist in all aspects of operation including troubleshooting and tasks as necessary Ensures ink room is kept clean and organized Operates all equipment in a safe manner Keeps maintenance logs up to date as tasks are performed Communicates job and equipment related information to Lead and other shifts Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines Inspect parts with precision, measuring tools and ability to read a ruler Qualifications Be able to lift more than 40lbs Experience in the printing industry (Komori presses Preferred) High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper & micrometer) Berryville Graphics (BVG) is one of the largest, fully automated, hardcover and softcover book manufacturers in the United States.
